He plodded along the rusty pathway, looking at the lusty green grasses, palm trees and the ground beautified by scattered pinecones.
The sky was crystal clear and showed not a slight of rain. There were birds everywhere chirping and singing along happily. There were long lost dinosaurs, herds of them, moving around in groups and living in harmony. There were no fights between different species of animals.
He saw buildings, not imposing, but constructed in such a fashion that each house seemed to welcome his presence. A gentle breeze shifted his gaze to a nearby forest. There were people, he noticed living in a camp – he guessed they were on a vacation. To no surprise, children were playing games with each other.
Not very far from where he was standing, he saw an ocean. Gentle waves crashed along the shore, so carefully so as not to hurt the creatures living inside the waters. The waves were so graceful in their action that he was overwhelmed by the mere sight of it.
People were walking with their families, bantering and cracking jokes. Everyone seemed to be happy.
He noticed something peculiar – an odd feeling that seemed to rise right from his instinct. There was not a single scene of sadness. Everywhere was bliss, luxury, harmony and peace. Just then, the memories struck him – hard. He sadly remembered being hit by an advancing train and the look of horror on people’s faces when he breathed his last. This was Heaven! Paradise. Thank You God.
